Withdrawal Policy and Procedures

Withdrawal Policy (Transfer out of OSAC International College)


  1. A student who withdraws from OSAC International College ceases being our student. OSAC International College will arrange for the cancellation of the student’s pass within 3 working days. The Student shall deliver to OSAC International College, within 3 working days of ceasing to be a student of OSAC International College, the Student Pass of the student for cancellation of the Student’s Pass.
  2. A student who wishes to withdraw from OSAC International College must do so in writing by filling up Withdrawal form and submitting the completed form to the Student Services Department. The applicant will be counselled by the School Counsellor upon receipt of the withdrawal request to understand the circumstances leading to the withdrawal request. The student ceases to be a student of OSAC International College once the Principal of OSAC International College acknowledges and signs the submitted Withdrawal form.
  3. The College will acknowledge receipt of withdrawal application within 3 working days and notify student of the decision within 7 working days from the date of receipt of application form.
  4. A student who goes missing and remains uncontactable for more than 3 days is deemed to have withdrawn from OSAC International College. OSAC International College will proceed with the cancellation of the Student’s Pass within 1 working day from the 3rd day that the student remains missing and uncontactable.

Withdrawal Procedures



* Record has to be kept for 5 years
* For students below the age of 18, parent/guardian has to sign on application form


Review:

This policy shall be reviewed annually in compliance with education industry guidelines and standards including those set out by the Council for Private Education.

Procedure:
Student Services Department is responsible for procedure development.

Responsibility:
The responsibility for implementation and interpretation of the above listed policies rest with the Student Services Department.
