Personal mastery is about creating what one wants in life and in work. Continually expanding personal mastery is a discipline based on a number of key principles and practices: personal vision, personal purpose, holding creative tension between vision and current reality, mitigating the impact of deeply rooted beliefs that are contrary to personal mastery, commitment to truth, and understanding the subconscious.

Over in OSAC International College, we advocate that all staff and students should exhibit the following characteristics as practitioners of personal mastery:

(a) They have a sense of purpose that lies behind their goals
(b) Their vision is more like a calling than a good idea
(c) They are committed to realizing vision into reality
(d) They are extremely inquisitive
(e) They do not resist, but work with, the forces of change
(f) They feel that they are part of a larger creative process that they can influence but cannot unilaterally control

OSAC International College advocates personal mastery through 3 levels of Empowerment.

(a) Encouraging staff and students to play a more active role in their daily endeavors.
(b) Involving staff and students to take on more responsibility for improving the way things are done.
(c) Enabling staff to make more and bigger decisions without having to refer to someone more senior.

OSAC International College trained our students to be ambassadors of our culture. We show them we care for their personal mastery and want them to be feel and be empowered. This Culture will permeate across the various departments and allow the school to achieve greater organisational benefits in the long run.
