Our Business Development Manager works to improve organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. This person defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Business Development Managers work in a senior sales position within the company. It is their job to work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for their organization. To achieve this, they need to find potential new Student Recruitment Agent, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future. Business Development Managers will also help manage existing Student Recruitment Agents and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. They call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs.


Establish collaborations to increase student enrolment
• Establish new foreign school and university collaborations
• Promote and enrol students into the College’s programmes from assigned countries.
Student outreach and support
• Plan and conduct overseas marketing activities like: fairs, seminars, college talks, etc.
• Attend to students' queries and feedback via emails, phone calls and face to face interaction
• Handle enrolment related administrative works
Management of overseas recruitment agencies
• Expand overseas agencies’ network reach to raise overall awareness in the market
• Liaise and maintain good relationship with overseas agencies
• Provide guidance and training to overseas agencies and in-country staff to ensure accurate representation of the College.
• Monitor performance of overseas agencies and in-country staff to ensure achievement of sales targets
Budget management
• Ensure given financial budget for recruitment is managed wisely and effectively
General ad-hoc duties
• Cover team duties during peak enrolment periods
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor


Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Understand consumer’s behaviour and the factors affecting buying decisions.
Self-driven to achieve targets set.
Able to initiate ideas in individual markets, and work in a team orientated environment.
Ability to do in-depth course counselling across hospitality, culinary and business related disciplines.
Willing to travel and work during weekends when required.

We are looking for culinary and pastry instructor who is dedicated to their craft and eager to share it with our students. As Instructor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of your classroom/kitchen as well as the career technical training of the students assigned to your class. This job requires a good mix of technical knowledge, people skills, and professionalism.


Teach and conduct professional Culinary / Pastry & Bakery programme
Maintain the cleanliness of classrooms and college kitchens
Part of the team in developing curriculum and lesson plan for culinary and pastry programmes
Prepare assessment and examination for the students
Ensure student evaluations and grading SOPs are executed accurately and as scheduled
To be proactive in keeping food costs within the allocated budget and seek improvements to reduce food wastes
Participation in student discipline, monitoring and reporting
Provide academic counselling and guidance when students may require
To be a role model to students and colleagues and uphold brand standards and persona.
Any other special projects or special events as assigned by supervisor


Diploma/Degree Holder in Culinary Arts/ Pastry & Bakery with a pass at GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent. WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) will be an added advantage.
Highly Experienced Head / Corporate / Executive Chef without formal academic qualification may be considered.
A minimum of 3 years industry experience in Hotels or Restaurants.
Previous experience conducting culinary training would be an advantage.
Won medals in international Culinary / Pastry & Bakery competitions will be an advantage
Able to deliver lessons in Chinese to liase with Chinese students and translate curriculum into Chinese will be advantageous.
Fresh graduates from The Culinary Institute of America, Singapore will be considered.
