Course Transfer Policy and Procedures

COURSE TRANSFER POLICY (within OSAC International College)


  1. A student who transfers from an existing course to a new course within OSAC International College shall be considered to have withdrawn from the current course and refund policy shall apply as per schedule 2.1 (This applies if the student has completed first month of the course).
  2. Request for transfer to another course within OSAC International College will only be accepted for consideration if the student has not yet completed the first month of study.
  3. If student has completed the first month of study, no transfer is allowed so student has to withdraw from the current course and refund policy shall apply as per schedule 2.1. (This applies if the student has completed first month of the course).
  4. The College will acknowledge receipt of transfer application within 3 working days and notify student of the decision within 7 working days from the date of receipt of application form.
  5. College has to cancel student pass tagged to the current course and apply under the new course for International student who wish to transfer course.
  6. Student might have to return to home country while college submit student pass application for the new course.

COURSE TRANSFER PROCEDURES



     * Record has to be kept for 5 years.
     * For students below the age of 18, parent/guardian has to sign on application form


Review:
This policy shall be reviewed annually in compliance with education industry guidelines and standards including those set out by the Council for Private Education. 

Procedure: 
Student Services Department is responsible for procedure development.

Responsibility:
The responsibility for implementation and interpretation of the above listed policies rest with the Student Services Department.
